After I intalled McAfee virus scan plus in my computer, the computer is very slow for some web pages. The slowest is Gmail. Also there is no any sign of loading in the status bar(before the instllation, there was “connecting to …” or similar things on the status bar). Could you please tell me why and how i can correct it? Thanks.

Well, if you have been following this series, you’ve already installed a piece of software that will do that for you and you don’t need to have it automatically run and take up resources at random times of the day. For this reason, it is a good idea to simply disable Windows Defender if you don’t want to bother having it run. I know I don’t bother, because it really isn’t very good protection software anyway, why keep it running?
