Why Is My Computer Running Slow

i am using limewire and my computer moves so slow. is there any other free site that i can download movies and music?

I am about to take my computer to best buy to fix my sound. The problem is that I have movies that are downloaded from various sites. I also have some weird ebooks. Will I get into trouble if they see that my movies were not paid for?
